Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)
With the current boom in the bio-related industries, this is the option that all students of science are looking at. New frontiers are opening up in the field of Molecular Genetics and allied research programs across the world. Biotechnology gives rise to many inter-disciplinary sciences such as Bioinformatics, Pharmacogenomics and Proteomics which can alleviate the problems that are being faced by agriculture, health care industries and environmental sciences.
Programme Objective
B.Sc programme imparts all the essential skill sets required to understand higher level concepts in modern biological sciences and equips them with enough hands-on expertise to solve complex problems at Postgraduate level. Promising new biotechnology application is the development of plant-made pharmaceuticals. Biotechnology is also commonly associated with breakthroughs in medical therapies & diagnostic devices.
Eligibility
Students seeking admission to the B.Sc. Computer Science program must have passed Pre-University with Physics, Chemistry, Maths /Higher Secondary/10+2 examinations or equivalent of any recognized Board or Council in any discipline.
Duration
The Program Duration for B.sc will be Three Years.
